Perfect for kids! Kodomo no Hi (literally "Children's Day") is a national Japanese holiday on May 5th that celebrates the happiness of all children. Carp streamers for each child (and occasionally for each parent as well) are hung over rivers to mimic the swimming fish when they fill with air and traditional samurai helmets are displayed to symbolize strength.
Kit includes five 19 in square sheets for the helmets, four 6 in gold squares and cardboard templates for traditional horn and crescent moon detail. Instructions are in Japanese.
