DIY Kit to wash your own Katazome! 6" Origami Paper made of Katazome papers from Wazome Paper Company. Wash the enzyme off yourself!

Instructions:

1. Submerge the washi paper in a basin of lukewarm water
2. When the adhesive on the washi paper softens (after 2-3 minutes), remove it by scrubbing with your hands
3. Remove the paper from the basin and rinse the adhesive sediment from the washi paper
4. Pat dry with a paper towel and hang with clothespins to air dry completely

Handling Notes

• Wear appropriate clothing and use an appropriate basin as color from the washi paper may stain during the rinsing process
• Glue on the washi paper may not come off easily if not submerged in lukewarm water for the right amount of time so please make sure the glue is soft before beginning the scrubbing process
• Color from the washi paper may rub off or the paper may tear if scrubbed or rinsed too vigorously
• Keep the plastic package sealed when not in use, as the dye (soybean based) and glue (rice based) are prone to degradation when exposed to the air
• Avoid use if allergic to soy or rice
• If skin reaction occurs, immediately stop use and consult your physician
• Use caution when using around children and pets and avoid accidental ingestion
