Katsushika hokusai was one of the most prominent ukiyo-e artists. He is best known for his series of prints The 36 Views of Mt. Fuji. 

This reproduction of Hokusai's Great Wave off of Kanagawa is the most famous of the 36 Views. The print is silk-screened onto high quality Japanese Washi. The print itself measures approximately 16" x 11.25" with writing and a border making the whole piece measure approximately 19.75" x 13.25"
