Sogara Yuzen are papers silkscreened by hand using the entire sheet of paper to express a single image or theme, such as landscapes.

This print, beautifully decorated with various shades of gold colors, shows a scene of a procession taking place during the Heian Period in Japan. The Tales of Genji by Lady Murasaki also takes place during this period.
