Made from rocks/minerals instead of trees, this mineral paper pad is 80% calcium carbonate bonded with small amounts of HDPE (plastic) to create a tear resistant paper. Water resistant - won't bleed through even when soaked, making it great for almost any water based or dry media. Bright white vellum-like surface folds crisply and absorbs just the right amount for vivid saturated colors.

Note: Not recommended for oil based paints or oil pastels.
